The decision to seek counseling is a courageous step. I believe this courage stems from a desire to be well, to be heard and affirmed, to have our needs met, to be empowered, a desire to live out of the truth of who we are and become the authors of our own lives. While each of us has a life story that is unique, I believe this desire is shared by all. As a counselor, I am privileged to provide a safe, professional, and supportive environment wherein individuals and couples can develop new tools to heal, learn and grow.
Though clients' goals for therapy vary, my therapeutic approach often involves providing assistance and guidance in areas that include: Increasing Self Awareness, Improving Relationships, Developing an Assertive Voice, Setting Healthy Boundaries, Managing Moods, Improving Self Esteem, Navigating Difficult Life Transitions, and Setting and Achieving Personal Goals.
