I am a Clinical Psychologist, the only Certified Gottman Couples Therapist in S. NV and a Senior Gottman Trainer & Consultant. My practice is limited to seeing couples only. I am licensed in Nevada and Maryland and also I am authorized by PsyPact to see couples in teletherapy who live in the following states- AL, AZ, AR, CO, DE, D.C., FL, GA, IL, ID, IN, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MN, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NC, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI & WY. Not all therapists are alike. When looking for a couples therapist It is important to choose one who is experienced and has specialized training. Gottman certification assures both.

My areas of focus include eating disorders, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, relational issues and addictions. I have experience working with young adults, couples and families. I use a variety of modalities in my work, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, RO-DBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I work closely with you to determine the appropriate treatment modality and to deliver effective and supportive treatment. Please note that I only see clients aged 18 and above

The most essential commodities of life one can have are love, hope and faith. At some point in life, every human being has experienced a loss of one if not all of the three. The loss of these are daunting which can make life feel purposeless and one can feel hopeless and worthless. Numerous life factors can become increasingly overwhelming. These range from grief, life transitions, family concerns, trauma, substance overuse and abuse, depression, anxiety, parenting, schooling concerns and a host of other issues.

Therapy is an exceptionally intimate working relationship, wherein our most personal and intense experiences are revealed and explored. I work with my clients to support and assist through current pain and difficult times, while also uncovering what feels like more persistent and repetitive dysfunctional patterns in our personalities and relationships. We can understand and change what keeps a meaningful and satisfying life out of reach. When we make efforts to understand ourselves in a deep and intimate way, we discover a sense of self, create meaning and find purpose within.

Counseling has always been that one unique ability of mine that I felt was a higher calling. The encouragement I get from watching clients meet major milestones continues to increase my passion as a therapist. I am a firm believer that there is no shame in asking for help. Regardless of how major or minor your struggle may be, having someone to talk to makes a massive difference. As a therapist, I strive to provide a nonjudgmental environment that allows clients to feel safe and secure. I work with anxiety, depression, loss, and trauma, in addition to youth, couples, LGBTQ+, and individuals.

Individuals (adults): My focus has been on addressing depression, loneliness, anxiety, eating disorders, family history, and the challenges of dating. Children: I work with children of all ages, but primarily ages 8-13, with issues such as social anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and children adjusting to divorce/split custody.

I’m a big believer that therapy doesn’t have to be buttoned-up or artificial. It should be comfortable and real. I prefer to facilitate a casual, collaborative, & affirming environment where we can openly discuss anything that’s on your mind and empower you to explore who you are and how you relate to others. I specialize in working working with athletes (professional and amateur), e-sports athletes, musicians, poly relationships and fellow therapists in individual, relationship, and family contexts.
