Next workshop July 23-24, 2016. The Hold Me Tight couples weekend workshop is a psycho-educational relationship enhancement program for intimate partners who want to break negative cycles and find safe connection and fulfillment in life. The workshop is designed to give you specific tools and you will learn to: * Affirm strengths in your relationship * Improve your communication * Address negative interaction patterns that affect your ability to be happy * Understand more clearly each other's emotions * Recognize underlying reasons for your conflict * Learn to renew love and build trust * Learn how to repair and forgive injuries * Enhance your emotional and physical intimacy.
It is difficult to connect deeply and communicate effectively when feelings of anger, hurt, betrayal, resentment, frustration, and fear make us defensive. Negative cycles are so powerful and automatic that we feel compulsively drawn into the same fight. However, we can learn to replace these negative cycle with positive safe and loving connection.
The Hold Me Tight Program is based on the theory and practice of emotional focused couple therapy (EFT) and the book Hold Me Tight by Sue Johnson. The workshop is designed to maintain your privacy and each couple conducts the experiential exercises in private and you do not need to discuss personal information with others.
