I work with adults, couples, and families who reside in Minnesota and Wisconsin. I commonly help people with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, abuse, life transitions/stressors, and grief/loss. Whether it be providing support through life transitions, helping an individual with the challenges that life brings, or assisting couples in improving communication, I will listen with empathy and understanding and provide different perspectives to bring about resolutions.

My expertise includes providing individual, family, and couples therapy to address a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, LGBT struggles, parenting concerns, abuse and other trauma history, grief and loss, substance abuse, and other mental health concerns.

I provide therapy services to both adolescents and adults. I work with individuals and couples, with my clinical interests being: self-esteem, empowerment, healthy communication, mindfulness, communication skills, and life transitions.

I enjoy working with people to create a nonjudgmental space that is tailored to their needs and goals. My view is that we are connected internally and externally in a web of different systems that impact us, and through understanding how these systems and the client are affecting one another do we get a comprehensive view of what’s going on. When appropriate and agreed upon, I will work with people in these different systems (e.g., family, loved ones, teachers, primary care providers, social workers, parole officers, etc.) to help provide continuity of care and a cohesive treatment plan.

The Clinical Services Center therapists are advanced graduate students with an interest in working with individuals, couples and families. We aim to support each client in any challenges they are facing.

My ideal client has been influenced by previous relationship experiences that have affected their authenticity, making it complicated in how they show up for themselves and others, and how they communicate with their loved ones. These clients are looking to rediscover their authenticity, communicate their perspectives effectively, and feel connected to their loved ones and to their true selves.

Passionate about helping others, I offer a space that is safe and genuine to members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and offer services to adults, couples, and adolescents. I have extensive experience and a desire to work with individuals who have experienced the impacts of trauma in their lives. Trauma looks different for everyone and working through those memories, emotions, and body sensations can be both scary and painful. Meeting you where you are at in your journey to create personalized goals with intention is my highest priority.

My clinical approach is integrative and collaborative as all people are different. Mindfulness is at the core of all approaches I utilize in practice. I utilize Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help clients build a base of skills to improve their quality of life including decreasing unhealthy coping mechanisms and building healthier relationships. I work with a variety of techniques with individuals who struggle with PTSD or Complex PTSD including Self-Compassion, Prolonged Exposure, and Somatic therapies. I provide tools for clients to practice in between sessions to help them progress toward their individual goals.

I work with Wisconsinites who struggle with depression, anxiety, life stressors, eating disorders, and trauma. I use an eclectic approach to bring a tailored approach to therapy because I realize what is helpful for one person may not be helpful for another. My goal in therapy is to understand my client's needs and to help my clients experience healing by understanding themselves better, improving their relationships, and improving coping skills.
