I work with a broad clientele including children ages 10+, adults, families, and couples. Anxiety disorders are a strong interest of mine. I like to collaboratively identify multiple interventions with clients who have goals related to diminishing and managing anxious symptoms. Building a trusting relationship is also important. Ideally, clients will recognize that they have a strong ally in me. I appreciate working with clients interested in learning more about their diagnosis and related symptoms, exploring how they influence them personally and inter-personally, and generally educating themselves about their mental health.

My career background before pursuing a Master of Arts in counseling was as an RN and then as executive director of a nonprofit women's ministry focused on eating disorders and other co-existing conditions. When assessing a client I try to take in the whole person: body, mind, and spirit, considering how each of these components is impacting the others. If a client chooses, I am willing to incorporate Christian faith-based counseling, in addition to a mix of therapeutic approaches. I also provide couples and family counseling. Hi I’m Beth! I am an LPC who has received a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working in-home counseling, crisis stabilization, and outpatient therapy for individuals, couples, and families. I also have experience working partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) for eating disorders.
