Issues of life and living can be overwhelming and painful. Navigating relationships, chronic stress, anxiety, traumatic experiences, attachment wounds, complicated family dynamics, and even health conditions may leave you feeling stuck and unable to make change in your life. I want you to know there is hope. Therapy is a path for experiencing relief/healing and restoring deep connection with our self and others. I am passionate about healing that incorporates a deepening of the spirit and the spiritual development that can come through nurturing a resilient nervous system.
I have specialized training in Somatic Experiencing (SE), which is a naturalistic form of healing that will help you learn how to settle and release stress (physiological activation) from your body. SE work is gentle and powerful. I also have training in Imago Relationship Therapy, Internal Relationship Focusing, Family Systems and Mindfulness practices.
My therapy style is interactive. I enjoy engaging individuals, couples, and families in a warm, collaborative, open, and authentic exchange. I like to work with people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. Special areas of interest are trauma work, including complex trauma treatment, relationship therapy and spirituality.
