My passion for therapy started with a desire to support teens dealing with self-harm, depression, and anxiety. As a therapist, I have also gained experience working with adults facing self-esteem issues, trauma, difficulties with setting boundaries, communication challenges in relationships, and a lack of personal identity and meaning. I aim to empower both groups to find stability and confidence in their strengths. In today's uncertain world, I strive to help clients find their footing and navigate their future. I also offer faith-based counseling at the client's discretion and have experience addressing religious trauma.

Her background includes a Masters Degree in Social Work, with a focus on Direct Practice in Mental Health and a BA Degree in Psychology both from Louisiana State University. She has experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, fear, relationship issues, grief and loss, depression, and improving motivation, self esteem, and confidence.

I am a relationship counselor who specializes in working with high-conflict couples. We believe that our behavior patterns in relationships are often shaped by experiences from childhood. For instance, a couple that is excited to get married may find themselves constantly arguing and feeling rejected. I can help track the cycle of conflict (Emotional Family Therapy by Sue Johnson) connecting/contrasting the secondary and primary emotions and noting the attachment impact of the couple.
