I enjoy working with teens, adults, couples, and families from various backgrounds using attachment focused, experiential, somatic, mindfulness based, and other therapies to promote personal growth, healing, and rediscovery. My professional areas of interest include: trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, depression and mood disorders, substance abuse, process addictions, ADHD, codependency, relationship and intimacy issues, attachment and family of origin issues, and personality disorders. In my work with clients, I utilize a range of interventions and therapeutic techniques based on the clients' own needs and presenting problems.
Operating from a holistic lens, I believe in the importance of integrating the mind-body-spirit connection so clients can heal from underlying wounds. I'm trained in Brainspotting, Somatic Experiential Therapy (SomEx), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, & other experiential techniques. I also offer both virtual and in-person sessions.
I have a Masters of Education (M.Ed.) in Human Development Counseling, with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from Vanderbilt University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) in the state of Tennessee. I'm originally from Phoenix, AZ but now I live in Nashville with my husband, 2 sons, and dog.
