Over the years, I have worked with people from many different backgrounds and have had success helping with multiple and varied issues. I work well with mood disorders, whether anxiety, depression, or anger, and have also had success helping couples struggling with their communication and reactivity to one another. I have also been told that my guidance about parenting and interpersonal boundaries, whether with our children, coworkers, or family, has been very helpful.

I am a PhD intern in Marriage and Family Therapy. I focus on attachment studies, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which I utilize in my work with individuals and couples. In my master’s degree, I focused on trauma and grief. I have over 12 years of experience working with clients who have experienced chronic and terminal illnesses, grief, and loss in the palliative and hospice care field. I also work with couples who experience emotional and sexual distress in their relationships.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) providing individual, couples and group therapy. For the past 25 years, I have helped people improve their emotional well-being, strengthen their recovery from addictions and trauma, and build healthy, fulfilling relationships. My clinical specialties include the treatment of anxiety, depression, addictions, sexual compulsivity and PTSD.

I am a Christian counselor who can help individuals, families and couples overcome hurdles in their lives. I can help people with many psychological issues that they are dealing with including trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, abuse and behavior modification. In addition I can offer mediation and life coaching services. I specialize in using EMDR and CBT.

My passion is working with children, teenagers, young adults, couples and families to process trauma and difficult experiences so they can experience growth and healing within themselves and their relationships. Through my work with individuals and family's I have learned the deep importance of understanding "what has happened" to people rather than viewing people through the lens of "what is wrong with people".

Trained as an Interventionist, I also prepare and collaborate with families and organizations in conducting interventions with a person experiencing behavioral problems.
