Lotus Care Psychological Services was established in 2022 in the Fayetteville area by Dr. Alina Contino. At Lotus Care Psychological Services we support, diagnose and empower, children, individuals and families living with the challenges of mental health conditions and disabilities. Lotus Care will provide you with resources and service referrals to help you grow in wisdom, knowledge and understanding. We want to promote your self awareness in order to treat and help you manage your life challenges the best way possible.

I have a desire to see each individual and family I serve strengthen by building resilience and character by providing strategies to improve cognitive process and behaviors to build healthier relationships with yourself and others. We have appointments available with independently contracted therapists who enjoy working with couples, adults, teens and children. We contract with experienced, licensed clinicians that can help you work through what may be holding you back.

I take a person-centered approach to therapy. I prefer to meet the client where they are walking with them on their journey to healing and living their best life. I am trained in CBT, DBT, Trauma-Informed Care, Geriatric/Adult Mental Health, Family Systems Therapy, Mindfulness, and faith-based therapies. I have experience and am willing to work with adolescents, teens, and adults. I will see clients in person in Lincoln County, Gaston County, and Iredell County as well as through telehealth.

I have personal experience in the challenges of being a wife and mother. I have dealt with the struggles of deciding the courses of treatment for my children. I have endured the restless nights of stress with many factors that affect the ability to balance life and self-care. We live in difficult times but together we can find a way to navigate through to brighter days. Life experiences has brought me to this place and time to help others.
