For many years I served adolescents, teens and families as a youth minister and school counselor. Since 1999 I've been helping individuals, couples and families who struggle with depression, substance abuse/addictions, relationship issues, adjusting to change, grief/loss and other concerns. I direct marriage preparation courses for engaged couples; provide marriage counseling and enrichment courses. Help adolescents, teens families, individuals, work toward wellness, growth and change. Founded in 1993 by Dr. Jeanette Vought, NewPath Mental Health Services (NPMHS) provides professional mental health services, incorporating Christian faith for those desiring it, to individuals who have experienced abuse or trauma. While we specialize in providing care to those who have experienced trauma, our therapists also have expertise treating depression, anxiety, sexual addictions, and addressing family and relational concerns. Therapy is a unique experience in which trust and collaboration are built and developed over time between the therapist, client, and family members. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I strive to look at the family as a system and how an individual client within the system is able to develop appropriate boundaries and healthy communication patterns. I utilize CBT, DBT and Play Therapy techniques. I am DBT trained and I am working towards certification in this area. I am also trained in Play Therapy and close to becoming a Registered Play Therapist. I work with children age 3-years to adults.
