Dr. David Charles is a Licensed Psychologist in Louisville, KY. He provides professional care and treatment for children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Dr. Charles utilizes evidence-based therapies tailored to the individual's needs and has experience treating anxiety, depression, cognitive issues, chronic pain/health issues, promoting healthy change, etc. Dr. Charles provides therapy as well as psychological and academic evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults.

I have been trained as a clinical social worker, addictions counselor, and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. I utilize experiential therapies and EMDR to help people reclaim their lives. In my practice I focus on helping adults struggling with developmental trauma and PTSD, sex and pornography addiction, recovery from narcissistic abuse & traumatic bonding, and drug/alcohol addiction. Our office is located in downtown Danville and houses ten qualified mental health professionals. I work with children, adolescents and adults, in varying degrees of distress.
