For over 25 years, I have committed my work to healing the personal and relational damage caused by substance abuse and addiction, emotional disorders, and relational discord. I draw on multiple treatment approaches - particularly systems theory, relapse prevention training, cognitive-affective-behavioral theory, and brief solution-focused theory - in restoring one's dignity and worth.

My program utilizes animals (mostly horses and dogs) combined with CBT and Trauma Focused Therapy to impact physical and mental health as well as the quality of life for adults and children with disabilities, victims of sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and post traumatic stress disorder. Clients will see improvements in overall functioning, self esteem, assertive skills, impulse control, trust, leadership skills and become educated in nurturing those who can't speak for their selves.
