As a therapist, I am trained to examine your private painful thoughts with you. Together, we will find solutions. Freeing your mind can allow you to achieve inner peace. Everyone grieves differently. The only way to get over the pain of loss is to go through it. Detaching from a loved one is done successfully when you are able to experience all emotions connected with the loss. Unhealthy grieving occurs when you numb out abusing drugs or remaining in denial.
Maximum results from therapy are attained when a strong relationship is formed between therapist and client. I create and maintain a safe environment so my clients feel safe discussing their most private thoughts. But the client must also participate by being open and honest about their issues and emotions.
