Pam Flatow was born and raised in New York. She graduated Cum Laude from Boston University with a BA and received her Masters in Social Work from Hunter College. She has worked in medical and psychiatric settings, inpatient and outpatient, and was Director of Social Services at a psychiatric hospital in Florida. Pam has many years of experience in her private practice, working with both adolescents and adults utilizing an eclectic range of therapeutic modalities. She is warm and caring and this comes across to her clients. She is the mother of three grown children and had a long term marriage until her husband passed away in 2015.

From childhood through late adulthood, there are certain times when we may need help addressing problems and issues that cause us emotional distress or make us feel overwhelmed. Together we work towards growth by identifying the issues involved, establishing goals, and becoming increasingly aware of reoccurring patterns that prevent growth. As awareness of one’s fears, perception, desires, and strengths increase, we are able to make successful life changes. I enjoy working with people who struggle with problematic sexual behavior (sexual addiction), partners who have been through betrayal trauma, couples in recovery, and general marriage counseling. Intimacy development in relationships is also one of my passions.

Catherine Roberts is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 22 years of experience in the mental health field. She understands the unique issues of clients with different personal, ethnic, racial, and cultural backgrounds. Catherine enjoys working with clients who are experiencing self-identity and interpersonal relational issues that affect their job and family dynamics. This is her ideal type of client to work with because there is a lot of self-exploration the client will need to work on first. Some of the issues that will come up are self-loathing, lack of esteem, shame, and poor self-image.

April Noriega is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. April has a long history of working with a diverse population of clients and disorders. As a military spouse, a mom of three, and a survivor of past trauma, April brings a wide array of skill sets and real-world experiences. Her hope is through therapy, you will see improvements and gain the tools you need to benefit your journey to a healthier you. April has worked with clients of all ages and has worked in private practice, in-home settings, in clinics, and via telehealth.

I'm passionate about working collaboratively with all of my clients, especially: clients of all ages with autoimmune, other chronic or potential life-limiting illness; teens/college students and parents with concerns related to academic and/or behavioral issues and in strengthening relationships; clients with mood, anxiety and addiction issues; clients with grief and loss issues and clients contemplating separation and/or divorce. I can objectively mediate a separation or divorce to each parties satisfaction.

I fell in love with Atlanta more than 35 years ago when I went to Emory University to complete my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I have maintained active connections to the psychology community, and I am excited to offer my services to greater Atlanta and all of Georgia through my video-based psychotherapy and consultation practice. The thrust of the practice is on helping adolescents and adults address their personal challenges in route to living a more fulfilling life. Research on effective clinical practices and my 35+ years of clinical experience will help us decide together what may be helpful to you.

As a licensed psychologist having worked at different settings and with different age groups, I appreciate the nuance that each person brings to the therapy room. Ours is a stressful world and anxiety disorders is one of my specialties. It's important to directly work with both the sources of stress and your stress responses (rapid heart rate, breathing difficulty, etc) to help you feel more in control and happier with life. I use cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness strategies in my therapy. The most important key to successful therapy is the relationship between us.
