There is a quote by J.R.R. Tolkien, "not all those who wander are lost". I think this is a solid descriptor of my life's journey. To the outside observer, I've looked similar to a vagabond as I've "wasted my potential" walking barefoot through Orlando serving the homeless, living in Brazil while working with at-risk children abandoned to the streets, and even more recently as I've dove into therapy with men and women struggling with sexual addiction and the fallout of effects upon their loved ones. I've wrestled with my own struggles and mental health diagnosis of OCD and now have the privilege of serving others.

I worked with adults for the past 30 years who may be experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, struggling through a developmental transition, those who have had a recent loss and need to grieve, or those having problems in their relationships with their partners. I most effectively treat persons who have one or more of the following symptoms, and/or issues: depression; anxiety; marital, family, or other relationship problems. I also have expertise in the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and geriatric mental health issues, including end of life issues. I help persons who are functioning relatively well, but want to increase ability to establish and attain goals; and increase their capacity for happiness and fulfillment in life. I specialize in empowering individuals in their quest for more satisfying romantic, social, and work relationships.

I have worked for almost 15 years as a therapist and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community. I am especially passionate about my extensive work with trans and gender-expansive clients and their family members.
