Perhaps you're having intense negative emotions. People typically enter therapy when they are in distress, although it's usually the long-term and underlying struggles that concern them the most. Initially, we will work quickly to address your immediate pain and provide relief. As therapy progresses, our focus may shift so you develop more positive and enriching relationships with yourself and others.
My therapeutic approach focuses on the interpersonal dynamics that impact your daily experience. I focus on helping individuals become unstuck from depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and intense negative emotions.
In therapy we look for the behaviors, attitudes, and patterns that protected you in the past but no longer serve a purpose. Therapy is a process we experience together, we are all recovering from something, we are all growing and becoming.
