As a licensed clinical psychologist, I enjoy helping people to improve their overall quality of life, not only through symptom reduction, but also through functional restoration. Given my experience working with chronic pain, trauma, depression, anxiety, and stress, I understand that when we are impacted by these challenges, we often feel unable to participate in the life roles that contribute to defining who we are and what we want to experience in life. Psychotherapy offers an opportunity to build and regain confidence, improve relationships, increase productivity, overcome difficulties, and more effectively manage daily life.
In my practice, I use my training and experience in various therapeutic methods to best help clients achieve their individual goals. I employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure treatment, Hypnosis, Mind-Body techniques, along with various other interventions to manage pain, process trauma, improve mood, and increase interpersonal effectiveness.
