I have a Ph.D. in Counseling, licensed in the State of Texas as well as Nationally. I am a researcher in Emotional Intelligence and have taught in the counseling graduate programs at The University of Texas at San Antonio and St. Mary's University.
I have studied negotiations from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and hold an Adjunct Professorship at St. Mary's University School of Law. I am the Regional Counseling Clinician for the National Basketball Association and the National Basketball Players Association. I have a private practice offering therapy and life coaching for individuals and families.
I work with adults and adolescents, emphasis on helping individuals and families with relationship issues, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and substance dependency. In my work, and make no mistake about it, therapy is work; I help people negotiate life when they become stuck. Put more simply, I am an unstucker.
