I enjoy serving individuals and couples braving the tough and rewarding work of therapy. My approach is to provide a safe environment in which my clients cultivate greater personal insight and emotional intelligence that ultimately promotes self-understanding, healing from past/present wounds and growth toward realizing a more whole self and/or relationship. I work with adults and couples with wide-ranging concerns including depression, anxiety, adjustment, identity, unwanted sexual behaviors, marriage & relationship concerns, and issues related to faith. I utilize Gottman Method Couples Therapy concepts in my work with couples.

I believe clients are responsible and accountable for their own behaviors, thoughts, and feelings. As a counselor, I hope to collaborate with my clients to develop greater awareness of self and life experiences that lead to increased confidence, independence, emotional and mental health, and the capacity to effectively navigate the challenges of life.

I believe my experience as husband, father, business owner, lay church leader and friend provide me with experiences that that promote connection with my clients.
