Welcome, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor I chose to become a therapist after serving over 30 years as a public servant. I also take pride in being a U.S Army veteran. I bring to each session a broad spectrum of life experiences in public, government & military settings. I feel that my experiences have provided me with a unique insight into the challenges that clients may face and have shaped my empathetic spirit and relatable perspective to treatment. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Governors State University.

I am a licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping individuals, couples, and teens learn to cope with symptoms of depression, stress and anxiety, addictions, trauma, abuse and anger management.

As a first-generation Mexican-American woman, I hope to help increase the accessibility of mental health services to underserved populations, especially Latinx immigrant families and first-generation populations. I hope to treat clients from a person-centered approach that are struggling with adjusting to life's changes and are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma based symptoms, or are looking for ways to lead balanced lives.
