Everyone faces difficult times in their life. As a therapist, I am trained to help people work through those times and learn coping skills and how to use them to overcome life's challenges. During my years of training and life experience I have learned to work with children, adolescents, teens, adults, and families. I am dedicated to working with those who need help in learning how to cope and overcome traumatic experiences. During my time as a therapist I have gained skills and received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing or EMDR as well as Play Therapy.
EMDR uses techniques to help reprocess traumatic events; learning to overcome trauma by thinking and feeling differently about the event that caused emotional pain and sorrow. During play therapy toys, games, or other activities are provided to help the client express feelings and past trauma experiences.
I provide a safe, supportive, and confidential environment where someone can trust me with helping them overcome and work through these situations. I look forward to helping empower you to learn and grow your strengths and improve your relationships.
