If you need to be heard and validated for your emotions and your dreams about life, I will listen and respond to you. I have provided pastoral care to troubled church members and to troubled youth in group homes and in jail cell blocks for more that ten years. I work with families and children who's lives revolve around the issues of one or more family members struggles with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I have provided group experiences for traumatized and delinquent youth. If I can help, I will help.
Intervention is centralized around process experiential challenges. Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) touches many issues and brings clarity to people trying to overcome personal struggles and relationship challenges. In addition, I focus on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) addressing barriers to psychological flexibility and escape as a cause for emotional distress.
