English
| Português I am a mental health counselor with international experience in counseling adults, teenagers, and families. If you are facing facing acculturation issues, overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment or emotional disturbances, we can work on these issues. I also have experience working with life-threatening conditions, domestic violence, divorce, HIV, grief and trauma. In addition, I enjoy working with parent/children to strengthen their relationships and behavioral issues. Also, I enjoy working with young adults transitioning, seeking a career path, identity formation, relationships, and intimacy issues.`
My goal is to help you recover and release emotional conflicts, roots of your suffering. I base my practice on evidence-based treatments: mindfulness, mind-body connection, strength-based, CBT. I look at my clients holistically, considering all aspects of life along with the mental health treatment and integrating the best techniques for the client.
As a dual citizen, a parent of bi-cultural children, I also faced the challenges of acculturation, adjustment, language barrier, cultural differences, family stress, divorce, relationship struggles, and discrimination. However, I became stronger, more flexible, open-minded, compassionate with human suffering. We are resilient, able to transform our lives!
