I provide counseling services mostly by telehealth. I have offices in Washington and Georgia. I focus on working with people who want to change their behavior to get better results, to get more of what they want and less of what they don't want. That usually involves changing thinking, letting go of irrational beliefs, and learning how to let others know what your needs are. You will find me person-centered, non-confrontational, even humorous. You want to have better consequences in your life; my job is to help you find them. I also work with couples and families who want to learn how to listen to each other and stop arguing.
If you are a highly sensitive person or you suffer from PTSD, ADHD or BPD, if you want to improve your interpersonal relationships and your communication skills with your spouse, partner, child, or parent, if you believed people when they said you were worthless, or if you have a substance use disorder, I can help you. I have 15 years of experience in SUD.
I am also an industrial/organizational psychologist and spent 20 years of my career as a consultant to business and industry. I understand the demands and requirements of organizations on individuals and also how these same dynamics work in other social systems. In addition to personal therapy, I do industrial and organizational psychology consulting.
