Hello, I am a Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (SC) and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (NC). I've spent several years working as a Licensed Nurse and therapist. I work with all ages; children, teens, adults and couples. My treatment is emotion focused and person centered. We each have a voice and when life is hard, sometimes we don't always feel we can speak up. In therapy we will find your voice, in a safe and private space, where you can hopefully begin to talk about the things going on in your life. Together we will find ways for you feel healthy and empowered, satisfied in your life.

When starting therapy, you will be provided a diagnostic assessment with testing. Depending on symptoms, treatment areas I am skilled are Behavioral Therapies; CBT, Trauma Focused, Emotion Focused Therapy, Dialectical (DBT), Person-Centered, Art Therapy, Mindfulness, Breathwork, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
I have been described as warm, positive, hopeful, supportive caring, and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor. In sessions we can find your strengths and help you to feel lighter and less weighed down. I'm here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest and tell your story.
