Psi Equine is a boutique clinical practice providing individual psychotherapy for adults and adolescents. Dr. Sells shapes every session around the client’s unique goals and needs, blending insight-oriented work with techniques from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and equine-assisted therapy.
Sessions are held at a small horse barn in Bethany, CT, offering a peaceful, hands-on environment, though video sessions are available when needed. Clients may use these services as their primary psychotherapy, or as a distinctive complement to ongoing treatment—the work with horses brings a unique and enriching dimension to the therapeutic process.
While most of my clients are self-pay, I also accept a limited number of clients with HUSKY insurance. Openings for HUSKY-covered appointments vary. Self-pay clients receive a detailed ‘superbill’ periodically, which they may submit to their insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
