I appreciate you taking time to explore change and prioritize yourself. Having provided therapy since 2016 with a variety of focuses (LBGTQ and addiction, transitional-aged youth, clients in crisis) I currently provide support for clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, feeling overwhelmed, and struggles with motivation. I'm a firm believer in therapy being a collaborative process and help clients identify and build on the strengths they already possess while developing new skills and strengths. Knowing that every persons' journey is unique, I tailor therapy to reflect individualized needs.
Along with being a certified practitioner in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing helping to target depression, anxiety, motivation, and relationships, I specialize in trauma and am a certified practitioner with EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy with a focus on male survivors of sexual abuse.
I recognize the process of therapy and the work involved can be challenging which is why the connection with a therapist is of the utmost importance. I am humbled to be a part of the journey clients share with me and help to fortify support with them by providing empathy, compassion, perspective, and a bit of levity.
