I’m Cortney Kramer, a licensed professional counselor with a passion for helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. I earned my bachelor’s in secondary education and my master’s in professional counseling from Central Michigan University. Since 2008, I’ve worked in a variety of counseling and supervisory roles. My experience includes working with juvenile and adult sex offenders, as well as providing support for families and individuals in counseling, and youth in a residential setting. I approach counseling from a person-centered perspective, ensuring that each individual feels heard and understood.
Depending on the needs of those I work with, I utilize a range of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive, behavioral, play, and sand therapies. I’m also well-versed in Brief Solution-Focused therapy, which helps individuals address and resolve immediate concerns.
