Sometimes kids and teens know they’re struggling but don’t know how to explain what they’re feeling or why they’re reacting the way they do. Maybe big emotions, anxiety, ADHD, neurodivergence, life transitions, friendships, or low self-esteem are making everyday life harder. In therapy, I provide a safe space to understand what’s happening beneath the surface, coach their building of practical skills, and help them feel more confident and capable.
I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—approaches that help you understand what drives difficult feelings and build real, workable skills, not just insight. With children and teens, I adapt the work to their developmental stage and involve parents as partners.
I'm a pre-licensed counselor (PCLC) who works with children 8 and older, adolescents, and adults. My approach is compassionate and collaborative: together we'll strengthen relationships, build confidence, and help you feel more grounded and in control.
