Trauma Specialist - Either past or present. Trained and skilled in dealing with PTSD, Acute Stress Disorder, and Bereavement. I am experienced in techniques, such as EMDR, Prolonged Exposure, Trauma Focus-CBT (Children & Adolescents), and Cognitive Therapy. My academic background is one beginning with a BA in psychology from Aquinas College, a highly-qualified teaching certificate for the state of Nevada, a MA in Education from Sierra Nevada College, and a MA in Mental Health Counseling from Seton Hall U. I'm also credentialed in EMDR, PE, and CBT and a member of the American Counseling Association.
