Hello there! My name is Corrina Williams, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Northern, California and support clients state-wide via telehealth. If you are here, you have taken the next step in your healing process, which demonstrates great strength and bravery. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, life changes and adjustment issues, trauma, and stress. I like to say my therapeutic approach is colorful and eclectic, depending on the individual I am working beside.
I pull components from CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and EMDR, while utilizing strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches. Ultimately, whatever feels the most comfortable and safe for the client, is what will guide us both.
I strive to cultivate a safe, calm, and non-judgmental space where the individual can be authentically themselves. I am warm and empathetic, yet honest and direct. Additionally, there is nothing wrong with using humor if we can. My approach is to create a collaborative relationship by involving my clients in the therapeutic process every step of the way.
