I might be the right therapist for you if you are facing life transitions, strong emotions, grief, anxiety, self-judgment, relationship problems or the effects of trauma. I will guide you in the discovery, acceptance, and integration of your own inner-wisdom, while teaching new skills to help you on your journey toward a life with more ease, connection, and meaning. Many of my clients are women or gender queer/non-binary persons. I work with a lot of therapists and people working in healthcare, education or social services. I also have a lot of experience with those in non-monogamous relationships.
My favorite work is helping people learn to surf the waves of their emotions. I use experiential, mindfulness-based approaches (e.g., Hakomi, Attachment-focused EMDR, Lifespan Integration). If you've done a lot of insight work about your area of concern, but want to add a somatic (body) and/or spiritual focus to therapy, I might be a good fit for you.
