Welcome to Cornerstone Counseling Services! This is a private practice with a team of trained and experienced mental health clinicians. We have worked with adults who have co-occurring Substance Abuse and Mental Health concerns. We have extensive experience working with children and teenagers who have academic difficulties, behavioral problems and mental health issues. Our clinicians have significant experience working with couples and families who struggle with both mental health and life issues that prevent them from moving forward in life. Remember, everyone experiences life struggles at one point in life
Our primary goal has been on encouraging our clients to discuss emotions and experiences and provide them some strategies to help them manage and overcome such mental and emotional issues. We provide a safe, unconditional acceptance and non-judgmental environment where clients are to explore their distressing thoughts and feelings related to their struggles.
In order to fulfil our mission, we collaborate with other practitioners to address our clients’ needs and to prevent them from falling back in their recovery. Our Clinical approaches include Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy and others.
