Life is a journey and sometimes the path may not be clear or can prove to be challenging. My counseling approach is eclectic and I believe it is essential that we work together to promote change. I will work with you to identify issues and set goals. I use a variety of techniques and you will often have an assignment or an activity to complete between sessions. I love working with adults, adolescents, and children. I volunteer with several organizati0ons and facilitate grief groups for adolescents and their parents. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia.

I am also a National Certified Counselor, a National Certified School Counselor, and a Certified Trauma Specialist. I have been a school counselor for 28 years in both elementary and middle school settings. I have been in private practice and taught classes for the University of Phoenix for over 10 years.

I am married to my best friend and together we have a blended family. His son was two when we were married, and we have daughter together. Every person and every situation is different and unique and I approach each client with this in mind.
