About
Relief is possible when there's acceptance, curiosity, and courage to be honest with oneself. I work well with clients who are looking to strengthen that trust in themselves to be honest, patient, brave and accepting. I offer guidance around connecting with one's needs, boundaries, self-worth and internal sense of safety and have experience helping people navigate relationship issues such as abandonment, infidelity, co-dependency; job difficulties; and ambivalence during difficult life transitions. My overarching goal for clients is for them to have a more loving and compassionate relationship with themselves, others and their past.
I tend to work at a slow and intentional pace that proves useful for creating safety for the parts of the psyche that may be holding troubling thoughts, emotions, beliefs, or traumas. I may integrate aspects of art, movement, and play into a session as a way to bring life to challenges that need a different processing style aside from cognitive and verbal.
If you feel drawn to work with me, I invite you to reach out and schedule a free thirty-minute intro session. Meeting in person and sensing how a session may flow is the best way to assess whether we would be a good fit. If finances are in the way of seeking and committing to help, ask me about sliding scale fees.
