It can be hard to take that first step and I strive to create a safe landing place when you do! My passion is walking with people through challenges towards health. I specialize in trauma and grief, and have specialized training in pregnancy and infant loss. I believe strongly in using body and brain therapies to help people heal more effectively that talk therapy alone through Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and Brainspotting. I also bring specialized training to integrate faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process as much or a little as the client prefers for holistic care of heart, mind, and spirit.
My work experience includes counseling survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, crisis counseling, and private practice where I have served clients with a broad spectrum of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues and self-harm.
