I am happy to work with anyone who is seeking some support in facing the normal vicissitudes of life. Not everything has to be a major trauma. Sometimes life is challenging and simple non-biased support is helpful. Other times a major event occurs and it is emotionally devastating. I truly believe that another human being walking with you in that time is crucial to healing. Your needs are what matter to me. I have a broad, varied background after 25 years as a therapist. As a mother and grandmother I think that I have not only a clinical understanding of the challenges many face, but also a personal understanding. I specialize in maternity issues, addictions and am EMDR (trauma) trained.
I have worked telephonically with pregnant women and new moms for over ten years. Prior to that I worked at Scripps McDonald Center in La Jolla. I know that recovery is possible. I am recently EMDR (trauma) trained --
