I believe trust and connection are the foundation of meaningful therapy. By providing consistency, reliability, and a judgment-free environment, I strive to help clients feel safe, heard, and understood! I value collaboration and welcome open communication throughout the therapeutic process so we can work together to best support each client’s needs and goals. I believe change happens when people can express themselves freely and feel safe.
I have a special interest in working with anxiety in children and adolescents, behavioral challenges, emotion regulation, identity exploration, self-esteem, and selective mutism. I have specific training in DBT, CBT, TF-CBT, and PCIT-SM Parent Child Interactive Therapy). I also use concepts from play therapy, art therapy, ACT, and IFS.
Before becoming a therapist, I was a teacher! That experience still shapes how I connect with clients today. I believe kids and teens grow best when they feel seen, supported, and accepted for who they are. I bring creativity, consistency, and a relationship-focused approach into therapy while helping clients build confidence and healthy coping skills.
