About
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State with several years experience working with adolescents and adults of various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds struggling with problems related to mental health and substance use. During my career, I have worked in a variety of health care settings, providing both individual and group therapy.
Using a client-centered approach, I emphasize empathy, positive support, and non-judgment in my work. Additionally, I prioritize the use of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions including mindfulness, as appropriate.
I believe that the journey to become familiar with our authentic selves not only improves our feelings of wellness and self-esteem, but also helps to enrich the relationships that we share with others. It is my privilege to partner with individuals on these very personal journeys and I look forward to travel with you on yours.
