Throughout life, we frequently encounter obstacles between where we are at and what we want to achieve. These obstacles can manifest themselves in the form of depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, self-esteem/self-confidence issues, or unresolved grief and trauma, to name a few. Gaining a better understanding of who we are as individuals is an important step in creating a sense of personal fulfillment in all aspects of our personal and social lives. I work with individuals in a collaborative process to explore these obstacles, challenge old patterns and beliefs, and find new ways of thinking and being.
Using various modalities and interventions, I work with individuals to gain insight and understanding into the influence of not only past events, but also current patterns of beliefs, with a goal of reconciling past hurts, healing past trauma, and breaking the cycle of unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and reactions.
Each individual is unique, and each individual will experience their world through their own lens of experiences; therefore, I tailor each therapeutic relationship to the specific needs, goals, and history of each individual.
