I employ a direct, warm and compassionate style of therapy, which supports and empowers individuals to develop a healthy sense of self and more satisfaction in their lives and relationships.
Working together we can address the challenges and identify alternate ways of thinking and behaviors that lead to more fulfillment and joy. I utilize solution focused therapy practices when working with clients including CBT, DBT, EFT and Mindfulness to help clients increase confidence, calm, strength, and flexibility when dealing with life transitions.
I have 25+ years of experience in mental health and vocational counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with Master’s degrees from Hunter School of Social Work and NYU and Certification in Trauma and Disaster Response.
