I work with elementary and middle school students - often bright kids who love chess or strategy games who struggle with big reactions to mistakes, losses, or pressure. Many become hard on themselves or shut down. I use engaging, game-based and reflective approaches to help them regulate emotions, build resilience, and respond more flexibly.
I specialize in emotional regulation, performance anxiety, and self-criticism in kids. By integrating chess and other interests, I help clients slow down their thinking, manage frustration, and build confidence, resilience, and a healthier response to challenge.
