Corena has been working in the social service field for 20 years and, in that time, has had the opportunity to assist individuals experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, as well as with those individuals presenting with substance abuse disorders and those on the spectrum of autistic disorders.
Corena utilizes a therapeutic approach specializing in Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral skills. Corena strongly believes that the key ingredient to navigating the therapeutic process and bringing authentic change is to build a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.
