Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, CADC-I

Cordelia Kraus is not currently accepting new clients.

I provide compassionate and nonjudgmental treatment for addressing addictive behavior, mental health, and life balance concerns, as well as family training for those with loved ones with addictive behaviors. I use evidence-based practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Community Reinforcement And Family Training (CRAFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and others. I work with adults and am welcoming and affirming of LGBTQ+, all religions, ethnicities, and relationship(s)/family structures. I offer stand-alone CRAFT-related services, either in personalized consultation for families or community training workshops.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is an active therapeutic perspective that helps us get unstuck by increasing our ability to flexibly respond to concerns so that we can keep doing what is important. CRAFT provides an effective and evidence-informed approach for families struggling with a loved one with addictive behaviors.

As for any therapist, my interests inform my practice. I love collecting tools and bring a wide range of written exercises to use, if that is something that is helpful to you. I also love continual learning, and strive to improve my skills with regular practice, consultation, attending trainings, and reading.
