Having worked as a direct provider in the mental health field since my graduate studies at Cal Poly in 2004, I have applied experience working with children, teens, adults, couples and families as a therapist, supervisor and now Director of Training and Development at Balance Treatment, training professional therapists.
With more than 20 years in the field of mental health, I am able to shift between modalities easily. I have spent most of my time in evidenced-based work (CBT, DBT, Trauma Informed Care, Gottman.) My disposition is warm and calm. Most importantly, I like people and enjoy bringing myself and my acquired tools into the therapy room to most benefit my clients.
