Thanks for taking the time to visit my profile! I believe therapy is a deeply powerful tool that allows us to recognize and change ineffective patterns in our lives to become more connected, fulfilled versions of ourselves. Just as I expect my clients to take the risk of bringing their authentic selves into the room, I bring myself to our sessions too--in the form of humor, candor, and empathy. I see all kinds of people, but I especially enjoy working with moms of young kids, teens and adults struggling with disordered eating and body image, and NICU moms.
Many of my clients find themselves stuck in negative patterns of thinking or ineffective behaviors that hold them back from the life they want. If you feel that your actions, your feelings, or your place in life don't match with the kind of person you want to be, I can help.
I bring much the same energy to my practice that I do to my friendships--warmth, wit, insight, and genuineness. I'm always reading a book (and will be happy to provide recommendations!) I hope you'll find our work to be both a comfort and a challenge.

New Moms Support Group
Are you a new mom and feeling isolated, overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed? Do you find yourself feeling distant from friends who don't have kids or having a hard time finding new mom friends? With the constant demands of an infant and the rest of your energy often going to your partner or your job, your own mental health might be a forgotten priority in this time of life. Our hope is that this therapist-led support group offers new moms a much-needed space to feel heard, understood, and connected to other moms. Pre-mobile babies welcome!
