I have studied Psychology since I was 12. Being a Psychologist is my calling and blessing. I studied classical and object relations psychoanalysis, cognitive-behavioral, gestalt and family therapies. I believe that our self-image and relationship patterns are formed in our families of origin. We can transcend the limitations of these patterns with courage, honesty and ACTION. Your future can be different from your past if you face your fears, let go of resentments and change your thoughts and behaviors. Psychology has been my calling and blessing since age 12. I am direct and encourage you to be so. I need to take a history early on to understand how past patterns are contributing to present difficulties. Then we will collaborate on your goals and treatment. In order to keep to keep therapy focused on you, I will have my phone off and ask that you do also.
I have been avidly studying psychology since childhood. I regard faith as a powerful tool which can be used in understanding and changing one's life but discuss it only at the client's request. I have worked extensively with computer folk. Adults 25-35 are in an exciting time when most can resolve their past family issues, forge and achieve intrinsic goals.
