Cook Behavioral Health's Groups
Adult DBT Group
***STARTING SOON***Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a type of cognitive behavioral therapy where we teach people how to live in the moment, how to cope with stress and regulate emotions, and how to improve communication and relationships with others. Our small groups will meet weekly, and clients will ideally attend individual therapy sessions where the therapist and client will work together to resolve the seeming contradiction between self-acceptance and change in order to bring about positive changes in the client.
