Contemplative counseling; a blending of western psychology and Eastern thought, spirituality using a whole person, humanistic client centered approach focused on attachment, trauma, loss, co-dependency, addictions and ACOA issues. Mindfulness fosters embracing your healthy power and control in life. Stop repeating unhealthy behavior patterns. Use Cognitive Behavioral, Emotionally Focused, Acceptance Compassion Therapy and narrative.

Contemplative Counseling is an approach to psychotherapy that includes the use of personal contemplative practices and insights informed by spiritual tradition of Buddhism. This differs from more traditional methods in that the therapist brings to the therapeutic relationship qualities of mindfulness and compassion in order to help clients access their fundamental goodness and natural wisdom.
